Manager of Daily Activities, LSS
Description
Manager of Daily Activities, Tobiasgården, Kungälv
About the organization
The Tobiasgården Foundation operates LSS activities in the form of two group homes and Daily Activities. Tobiasgården also runs a small farm with cows, sheep, horses, chickens, and rabbits. The farm is the center of daily activities and creates natural work tasks. There are also vegetable gardens, fields, pastures, and some forest. Even in their free time, the residents have the opportunity to interact with the animals and enjoy the beautiful nature where the organization is located.
Tobiasgården is run as a foundation and is an anthroposophical, ideologically driven organization. The farm is operated organically/biodynamically. Tobiasgården has existed since 1988.
The foundation's purpose paragraph:
"The foundation's purpose is to offer care, education, and daily activities to needy children and adults according to anthroposophical curative education/social therapeutic methods in combination with biodynamic farming and in service of the public good."
As the manager of Tobiasgården's Daily Activities, you are part of a management group and thus have close collaboration with the manager of the group homes and representatives from the board. One of the core ideas is a holistic perspective, where caring for animals and nature has a positive impact on us humans, and thus it is also important to preserve the farm and garden.
In the Daily Activities, the residents have their workplace. Five other participants join during the day. In total, there are twelve places in the Daily Activities. They work on the farm, in the garden, in the kitchen, or with crafts based on wishes and possibilities.
