Development-Oriented Tester / Test Developer – Stockholm

Role Description

We are seeking an experienced test developer in test automation for a long-term assignment in Stockholm. You will take a central role in implementing and further developing test strategy in an environment with multiple teams and varying maturity levels. You will work practically with designing, implementing, and maintaining automated tests, while coaching and supporting developers and testers in building quality in from the start.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain automated tests for microservices and event-driven flows
• Contribute to implementing and further developing test strategy in a multi-team environment
• Work with contract testing of APIs and asynchronous flows
• Ensure quality in distributed and cloud-based systems
• Coach and support developers and testers in test automation and quality work
• Follow technology development and implement relevant improvements in practice
• Contribute to building quality into the development process from the start

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of relevant academic education in systems science, engineering, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience testing event-driven systems (e.g., e-commerce, gaming systems, or banking solutions)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in testing and development with C# and .NET
• Minimum 3 years of experience in testing and development with JavaScript frameworks
• Minimum 3 years of experience in test automation for full-stack and API products in a cloud context
• Minimum 3 years of experience with TypeScript
• Minimum 3 years of experience with Playwright or similar frameworks
• Minimum 3 years of experience with Vitest or similar frameworks
• Minimum 3 years of experience working and testing in cloud environments (e.g., GCP)
• Minimum 3 years of experience with client-based frontend in cloud environments
• Minimum 3 years of experience with CI/CD and GitOps flows

Meritorious

• Experience with TestKube
• Experience with BDD and related tools (e.g., SpecFlow)
• Experience with API testing tools such as Bruno, Postman, or equivalent
• Experience with AI-based tools or agents to streamline test work
• Experience with contract testing (e.g., Pact)
• Experience with observability: logging, metrics, and distributed tracing
• Experience with test automation in distributed systems and microservice architectures
