We are now seeking an experienced Network Engineer who wants to work in a dynamic and technically advanced environment. In this role, you will have a central position where you are responsible for ensuring stable and secure operation of the network infrastructure, while contributing to the development and modernization of existing environments.

About the role

As a Network Engineer, you work closely with the business and are a key person in ensuring that the network environments function optimally – both in daily operations and during change initiatives.

Your main tasks include:

• Hands-on work with installation, racking, and replacement of network equipment
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving in production environments (LAN/WLAN/WAN)
• Incident management and change management via ITSM tools, such as ServiceNow
• Collaboration with monitoring teams, network architects, and technicians at other locations
• Participation in projects related to modernization, inventory, and management of technical debt
• Business travel (with good advance notice)

Profile

We are looking for someone who is technically skilled, solution-oriented, and enjoys working both independently and in a team.

Requirements:

• 4–8 years of experience in networking, preferably as a consultant
• Experience with network operations in production environments
• Strong competence in network troubleshooting
• Experience with installation and management of network equipment
• Good knowledge of TCP/IP, VLAN, DNS, and DHCP
• Experience with ITSM tools, preferably ServiceNow
• Category B driver's license
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English

Meritorious

• Experience with Cisco, Fortinet, and/or Check Point
• CCNA certification
• Experience with network monitoring and security solutions

Competence Level – Level 3

• Knowledge: High competence in the networking area
• Experience: 4–8 years, serves as a role model for more junior consultants
• Leadership: Can be responsible for sub-areas and lead smaller teams
• Independence: Works independently and takes own initiatives

Specific qualifications

We would like you to have experience in several of the following areas:

• Cisco, Fortinet, and Check Point (1–3 years)
• Troubleshooting and work in production environments (1–3 years)
• Network protocols and technologies such as TCP/IP, VLAN, DNS, DHCP (1–3 years)
• LAN/WAN, network operations, and network environments (1–3 years)
• ITSM tools and ServiceNow (1–3 years)
• At least 3–5 years of experience in the role of Network Engineer/technician
