Systems Engineer - Ground Combat System Engineer

Condesign is now seeking a consultant for assignments as a Systems Engineer within Ground Combat Systems. In the role of systems engineer, you will work on the development of advanced anti-armor systems and systems for countering other ground-based threats.

A large part of the work involves understanding the capabilities the customer requires and the other stakeholders' wishes for the system. The needs are transformed into a technical view that shows how the required capability can be met. The work includes developing system architecture, measurable requirements, integration plans, verification, and validation. As the work involves system issues at a somewhat higher level, travel and collaboration with international customers and partners may be included.

Who are you?

We believe you are a driven person who thrives in a dynamic environment in a team that constantly strives to improve its working methods and deliver innovative solutions at a fast pace. You have several years of experience in technical development of complex systems with broad interest and understanding of how mechanics, electronics, and software integrate and interact.

You have at least a university-level but preferably a Master of Science in Engineering or equivalent. You have an aptitude for working in a structured manner and taking your own initiatives, good self-leadership, and do not shy away from actively seeking the information you need. It is important that you have a sense of the overall perspective and have been around long enough to have a good feel for when it is time to take the next step in development.

The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to current security protection regulations at the time. For positions with requirements for security classification, in applicable cases, this may entail requirements for certain citizenship.
