Property Caretaker – External Environment

Laxåhem is a municipal housing company with origins dating back to 1946. We enhance and manage properties and premises in central Laxå, Hasselfors, and Finnerödja.

We are now seeking a team member with a strong interest in outdoor environments and gardens, who wants to help maintain, upkeep, and develop our outdoor areas within our municipal housing company.

About the Position

As a team member at Laxåhem, you will be responsible for the maintenance of our residential areas based on our maintenance plan. This involves varied work ranging from weed removal, care of flower beds, robotic mowers, and development of our outdoor environments. The work is diverse and largely takes place outdoors, focusing on creating well-maintained, safe, and attractive environments for our tenants.

The tasks vary throughout the year and include among others:

• Maintenance and upkeep of green spaces, courtyards, and walkways

• Repairs and inspections in the outdoor environment

• Development and improvement of outdoor environments in our residential areas

• Snow removal and anti-slip measures during wintertime

• Service and inspection of laundry rooms as well as other common areas

• Collaboration with colleagues and contact with tenants is an important part of the work.

We are looking for you who

• Are responsible, have a service-oriented approach, and enjoy working independently.

• Are proactive, you see what needs to be done and carry out the work with your own planning.

• Enjoy practical and physical work, both outdoors and indoors.

• Have good collaboration skills and contribute to a positive work environment and enjoy the social aspect in our service profession.

We would like to see that

· You have experience with machine operation. This is because we also perform snow and anti-slip measures on our own.

· You have previously worked with development of outdoor environments.

You should have:

· B driver's license

· A very strong interest in living environments and outdoor work.

· Experience with similar work within gardening and/or park maintenance

This is a full-time, permanent position that may begin with a six-month probationary period within Laxåhem.
