Swimming Teacher/Swimming Coach

We are the swimming club Swim Power Sports Association, operating at Centralbadet, Skärblacka and Åby in Norrköping. We have approximately 320 swimmers participating each week in our swimming schools and training groups. We are now looking for dedicated and responsible swimming instructors and coaches who want to become part of our organization.

All practical work is scheduled for the afternoons.

Are you pedagogical, confident in water and enjoy working with people of different ages? Do you have an interest in swimming and development? Then you might be the one we are looking for!

About the role

We are looking for both swimming instructors and coaches. The role is flexible and can be adapted to your experience and availability.

We would like to see that you can combine both roles, which can provide a larger scope of work. At the same time, we welcome you who want to work in only one of the roles, or take responsibility for one or more groups.

We are looking for you who:

• Are responsible and reliable
• Have good communication skills
• Are solution-oriented and take own initiatives
• Enjoy working with people of different ages
• Have an interest in swimming, training and pedagogy
• Have experience as an instructor and/or coach (meritorious but not required)

It is an advantage if you can travel to our different facilities on your own, as we operate at Centralbadet, in Skärblacka and in Åby. This is particularly relevant if you want to work more than 1–2 days per week.

If you are seeking work as an instructor and lack education or experience, we can offer hourly employment to start with. You need to have the right personal qualities as well as be available for internship and training with us already in May, to be able to start work in August.
