Description
Vinga Folk High School is a dynamic and expanding folk high school in central Gothenburg. Here, adults of various ages and backgrounds study to gain subject qualifications in the General Course, Swedish for Immigrants (SFI), or to delve into Bible, theology, and leadership. The school has around 180 participants and 30 employees, in addition to our SFI operations. We who work at the school are highly committed to seeing people grow and develop, and all staff work in different ways to help participants achieve their goals and dreams.
The principal of the school is the Pentecostal Congregations' School and Course Activities (PSK), which also runs the folk high schools Kaggeholm, June, Mariannelund, and Umeå. The contact between the schools is very good, and each school has a principal and administrative staff.
Vinga Folk High School was started in 2018, and in August 2023, the school moved into newly built and operationally adapted premises in Frihamnen. Over nearly eight years, the staff together with participants have shaped and developed the activities and spirit that prevail at Vinga Folk High School. As an employee with us, we dare promise that you will be challenged and developed in an exciting and constantly changing environment.
