Our sister school Engelska Skolan Norr was founded in 1993 and is one of Stockholm's oldest independent F-9 schools. The school is part of the organization Engelska skolor och förskolor AB, where today 220 people work across four elementary schools and four preschools.

Engelska skolan Novia F-9 offers our students a bilingual education of high quality that follows the Swedish curriculum. Since we operate in an international environment, you need to master both spoken and written Swedish and English. Our pedagogy is characterized by a sustainable approach where we work to help each student realize their full potential both academically and as socially competent individuals.

Engelska skolan Novia has approximately 340 students and is located in Årstadal/Liljeholmen.

Are you the one we are looking for?

We are now seeking a substitute teacher for physical education and health instruction for grades F-4. You are a qualified and certified physical education teacher, or a trained elementary school teacher in after-school programs with a focus on physical education and health.

The assignment

We want you to be a teacher who builds your teaching on close pedagogical relationships with the students and who is passionate about meeting students at their individual developmental level based on their experiences, knowledge, and abilities.

It is advantageous if you are accustomed to working with digital tools, as students' learning, goal achievement, and development are documented in our platform Admentum, and all communication with guardians also takes place there.

What do we offer?

The position is a temporary 80% position starting on August 7th.
