Manager/Supervisor for Streets/Parks

Hoforshus AB is the employing authority for employees within the technical operations of Hofors Municipality. Hoforshus AB owns residential properties, administrative premises, and industrial facilities. Hoforshus AB also manages buildings, green areas, baths and playgrounds, as well as streets and roads owned by Hofors Municipality.

As a supervisor for Streets/Parks, you are responsible for leading, planning, and distributing the daily work for our three street and park workers. You should be able to follow up and report the group's work to the technical manager, who is employed by Hofors Municipality and is the municipality's client for the unit's work.

Additionally, it includes carrying out your own work in the municipality's parks, natural areas, and the company's land, which may involve measures for developing green areas or individual efforts identified in action plans or similar governing documents. You are responsible for and participate in the work performed with contractors, own staff, and machinery. The group's work area covers all common tasks in parks and green areas as well as hard-surfaced areas. You work on planning the daily work together with the work group in streets/parks and with the technical manager regarding development and similar tasks within management work. Your work area falls under Hoforshus AB's area of responsibility. Winter preparedness is included in the position.

Since personnel responsibility only covers three positions and seasonal employees, the position also includes serving as a resource supervisor for the company's other supervisors during their absence.

You should have suitable education for the position, be self-reliant, and have several years of documented experience as a supervisor.
