Barjaco Group AB is a growing conglomerate with operations in restaurants, service, and property-related projects. We operate and develop several restaurant units and continuously work on new establishments, renovations, and improvements in our existing businesses.

We are now seeking a driven and self-sufficient project manager with a focus on restaurant construction, who wants to be part of developing our restaurant concepts and ensuring quality in our units.

About the Role

As a project manager at Barjaco Group AB, you will have a key role in our expansion and development. You will be responsible for planning, leading, and following up on construction and establishment projects related to our restaurants, from idea to completed operational unit.

During quieter periods between projects, you will also visit our existing restaurants to monitor operations, follow up on routines, and ensure that our units maintain the correct standards.

Job Duties

The role includes, among other things:

• Drive and coordinate construction and renovation projects within restaurants
• Plan project time, budget, and resources
• Have contact with contractors, suppliers, and authorities
• Ensure projects comply with quality, work environment, and safety requirements
• Participate in procurement and purchasing related to construction and furnishings
• Support in establishing and starting up new restaurant units
• Conduct operational controls and follow-ups in existing units
• Report status and results to management

We believe you are structured, solution-oriented, and enjoy juggling many tasks. You have good ability to work independently but also to collaborate with various functions and external parties.

Qualifications

• Experience in project management within construction/renovation (advantageous in restaurant environments)
• Good understanding of construction processes, planning, and budget
• Experience working with suppliers and contractors
• Good computer skills (Excel, documentation, reporting)
• Class B driver's license (required)
• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing

Advantageous

• Experience in the restaurant industry or large kitchens
• Knowledge of authority requirements, hygiene, and work environment
• Experience in establishing new businesses
