Summer Job as Lock Keeper at Hovetorp on Kinda Canal 2026

As we have a position available in Hovetorp, we are now seeking another person for the role of lock keeper at Hovetorp this summer.

We are now looking for an energetic, cheerful, and responsible employee who wants to work with us this summer and help make the experience on Kinda Canal a truly enjoyable one for our boat guests, as well as for our visitors who want to watch boats being locked through!

We are seeking someone who is at least 18 years old. Who enjoys being outdoors, has a bit of spring in their step, and is not afraid to get their hands dirty. When locking boats, communication is important, which is why we prefer that you are comfortable expressing yourself and enjoy meeting people.

The job as a lock keeper is a really fun job, where you get to meet happy vacationers from both Sweden and other countries. It is good if you master English in addition to Swedish. If you also have German in your portfolio, that is a big plus.

The period runs from June 22 to August 2. Those who can work the entire period have priority.
