District Nurse at Åbågen Health Center

We at Åbågen Health Center in Arboga are looking for a district nurse.

We have over 7000 registered patients whom we provide good accessibility for.

The operating form is private with a healthcare agreement with Region Västmanland.

The work tasks consist of telephone advice and receiving booked patient visits at the district nurse clinic. This may include injections, vaccinations, infusions, wound dressings, blood pressure measurements, suture removal, catheter care, and assessments.

Each nurse usually also has their own area of responsibility, such as asthma, memory clinic, diabetes, and health consultations.

Other professional categories to collaborate with include doctors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dietitians, midwives, and child health center nurses as well as assistant nurses.

Experience in primary care is meritorious. Great emphasis is also placed on personal suitability.
