Kitchen Assistant and Baker at Panem

PANEM is now looking for an engaged and responsible person who can combine the roles of baker and kitchen assistant with cash handling to join our team in the heart of Stockholm!

About the position:

In your role as a pastry chef and kitchen assistant at PANEM, you will work in an environment where many tasks are performed manually. This means that some lifting of raw materials and some monotonous tasks may occur. You will also handle the cash register system and assist customers.

We are looking for someone who is flexible and forward-thinking as a person, and who can work carefully and at a high pace. You are responsible, follow daily routines, and can work both independently and in a group. Additionally, you strive to prevent stressful situations.

Job duties:

• Planning and purchasing: Be responsible for planning production as well as handling purchasing, unpacking, and sorting of raw materials and packaging for the bakery.
• Preparation of bakery products: Prepare all bakery products according to our assortment, and manage all parts of the preparation process.
• Monitoring and baking: Monitor preparation and completion of baking using machines.
• Cleaning and organizing: Ensure that machines and tools in the bakery are always clean, organized, and meet all local health regulations after your shift.
• Development of the assortment: Contribute to the development of PANEM's assortment and the presentation of products in our café.
• Customer service and cash handling: Assist customers in the café, handle the cash register system, and ensure that customers have an excellent experience.
• Other duties: Support in the bakery during holidays or represent PANEM at events. Actively work to reduce waste and perform self-checks.

About the employment:

• Type of employment: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
• Working hours: Varying workdays as we are open 7 days a week.
• Salary: Fixed monthly, weekly, or hourly wage.
