Tivedens Mat "the restaurant in the middle of the forest"

We are looking for you with experience from other à la carte restaurants, perhaps you have worked as a Head Waiter, Sommelier, or have been serving for many years. Maybe you are working the winter season now or studying and need a summer job for the summer of 2026.

Tivedens Mat is not located in Askesund, but about 30 minutes south, above Karlsborg in beautiful Tiveden with a national park and a lot of tourism. There is simple accommodation at the restaurant when we are open.

Tivedens Mat is going strong in its 21st summer and is a popular place with a classic French-Swedish menu made from scratch and all wines by the glass. We are featured in Falstaff and White Guide.

We are open from May to September, check the website for opening hours, and you need to be able to work most days we are open, especially from June to September.

This advertisement is only for those with more than 2-4 years of experience in serving work, and please provide references. A car and driver's license are needed, but ridesharing or carpooling might be arranged.

With your own car, you will have the opportunity to explore a beautiful and fine forest area with lakes and many hiking trails, small picturesque towns within 30-60 minutes, and there is time since we are only open in the evenings.
