Systems Engineer

We are now seeking a Systems Engineer for an assignment in Karlskrona. Under general supervision, you will be responsible for systems engineering projects of moderate complexity and/or smaller systems engineering projects. You will be responsible for developing new product and system designs as well as components.

Details:

-The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to the current security regulations in force. For positions requiring security clearance, this may, in applicable cases, entail requirements for specific citizenship.

-Business trips occur, a driver's license is not required but is advantageous.

You are also responsible for requirements management, development, and creation of overall system architecture and design, including the selection of main components, and for ensuring that the designed system meets the requirements. This includes the definition of interfaces, and in smaller business units, the role also encompasses system security and testing.

Your Profile

-3 years of experience in similar roles

-Excellent interpersonal skills as well as good communication and collaboration abilities

-Higher education in a relevant field, preferably within the naval domain

-Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

-Desirable attributes include knowledge of system integration work, ships, sensor performance, requirements management, and verification work.
