Senior AI Solutions Engineer

About the Assignment

We are looking for a Senior AI Solutions Engineer for an exciting assignment in Gothenburg. In this role, you will be part of a specialized AI team and be responsible for designing and implementing complete AI solutions that enhance existing products and operational workflows. The assignment requires on-site presence three days per week.

You will work across the entire lifecycle – from problem definition and model design to deployment of functional solutions – using large language models (LLM) in combination with classical machine learning techniques.

Job Duties

• Design and implement complete AI solutions end-to-end
• Transform vague or changing requirements into concrete technical solutions such as models, data pipelines, and decision systems
• Integrate AI functionality with data, tools, and business processes
• Build and expose services (e.g., APIs) to make AI capabilities available in applications
• Continuously evaluate and refine solutions based on real-world usage, limitations, and trade-offs
• Collaborate closely with product owners and engineers to deliver functional solutions
• Share responsibility for the entire DevOps and MLOps lifecycle

Requirements

• Minimum five (5) years of experience in software development or a similar role
• Ability to independently design and deliver complete end-to-end solutions with clear ownership of quality outcomes
• Experience with machine learning methods such as regression, classification, and time series analysis
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a practical, engineering-oriented approach
• Minimum one (1) year of experience with AI solutions in a production environment
• High proficiency in Python with the ability to create and deploy simple services (e.g., FastAPI)
• Documented experience in making LLM-based systems reliable in real-world environments, including evaluation methods, error handling, latency, and cost optimization
• Solid senior-level experience in applied AI and machine learning development
• Practical background in developing and operating LLM-based solutions in production, including tool usage and multi-step workflows

Merits
