Upper Secondary School Teacher in Social Studies, Natural Science, and/or Mathematics

Lunds Fordonstekniska Gymnasium is an independent upper secondary school located in Gastelyckan, Lund, with approximately 70 students. Since 2003, it has been training future automotive technicians within the Vehicle and Transport Programme.

We are now seeking one or two dedicated teachers in social studies, natural science, and/or mathematics. Associated duties, in addition to teaching and planning, include mentorship and collaboration with colleagues in work teams. You have great freedom to design your teaching in a way that develops and challenges your students.

For the 2026/2027 academic year, starting on August 11, we are looking for you who have a teaching degree and certification with qualifications to teach social studies, natural science, and mathematics at the upper secondary level. If qualifications exist for all three upper secondary subjects, the position is approximately 45% with a distribution of teaching social studies, level 1, 10%, natural science, level 1, 10%, and mathematics 25%. The mathematics subject includes teaching the courses mathematics, level 1a, and mathematics, level 2a. If qualifications exist for only one subject, you can apply for just one subject. If qualifications exist for two or all three subjects, it is possible to apply for only two or all three subjects. We are open to different combinations and welcome all qualified applicants.

It is advantageous if you have previous experience teaching students in upper secondary vocational programmes.

As a person, you are organized, engaged, flexible, have good collaboration skills, and a positive attitude. You are a natural leader in the classroom and can both encourage and challenge students. Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities.
