Description

We are looking for a dedicated and confident special education teacher who wants to be an important part of our Waldorf school's work for inclusion and each student's development.

About the position

As a special education teacher, you will work on mapping, assessing, and supporting students in their learning and social development. You will conduct special educational interventions at the individual and group levels and collaborate closely with classroom teachers, student health services, and guardians to create adapted and accessible learning environments.

The work includes, among other things:

  • Designing and following up on intervention programs
  • Conducting special educational assessments
  • Providing pedagogical support and guidance to colleagues
  • Working preventively with learning and behavioral support

Collaboration and holistic perspective

You will contribute to the school's shared pedagogical work and development in line with the Waldorf pedagogy's holistic view of the child's development. Documentation and communication with guardians are a natural part of the position.

About us

Stiftelsen Martinskolan is an independent, ideologically driven, and non-profit school organization based in Hökarängen. The foundation's purpose is to develop and operate Waldorf pedagogical activities.

The foundation was established in 1976 and currently operates the second-largest Waldorf pedagogical activity in Sweden. The foundation's activities include three preschools with space for 123 children; a comprehensive school from preschool to grade 9 with about 350 students; and a school unit for students with special support needs, Resursskolan Martinskolan.
