Personal Assistant for Teenage Girl with Great Interest in Horses!

Do you like structure, clear frameworks, and a functioning daily life – but also laughter, engagement, and those little golden nuggets that make the job meaningful?

We are looking for two personal assistants (full-time and part-time) for a soon-to-be 14-year-old girl. She is strong-willed, humorous, and full of energy and has an extensive neuropsychiatric and intellectual disability with several co-occurring diagnoses, as well as gastrostomy and type 1 diabetes. She has a great need for predictability, clarity, and safe adults around her. When it works best, she is fantastic to be with.

Horses are an important part of her life and she is at the stable several times a week. Riding provides both joy and recovery, so it is a big plus if you have horse or stable experience, or enjoy that environment.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for you who are a girl between 20–40 years old and want to build a long-term relationship. You are secure, patient, and can keep calm even in intense situations. You are attentive and flexible, structured and solution-oriented, and take responsibility in daily life. You master Swedish fluently in speech and writing and have a driver's license and access to a car. Experience from care or nursing is meritorious but not decisive – personal chemistry and engagement are most important.

About the work

The work is based on her needs and includes care, structure, and activities. It involves personal hygiene, tube feeding, medication and diabetes care, as well as support in communication and transitions. You are there where life happens – at school, at home, at the stable, and during activities like concerts and hospital visits – and contribute to safety, continuity, and a functioning daily life.

About the positions

One position at approximately 80–100% and one at approximately 50%. Work shifts are scheduled day, evening, night, and weekend according to a rotating schedule. Evening shifts may occur. Some flexibility is required to meet her needs and wishes.
