Personal Assistant Wanted in Västerås!

We are looking for you who want to take on an important mission – to be a personal support in daily life for a woman in her 70s living with MS and residing in Västerås.

This is a role where presence, attentiveness, and responsibility are crucial. You will work closely with her and adapt the support to her needs, daily condition, and wishes. As a personal assistant, you become part of a small circle around her, where continuity and trust are the focus. Your contribution enables her to live her life based on her own conditions and maintain as much independence as possible.

The work includes everything from nursing, insulin delegation to be conducted in connection with employment, intimate hygiene, transfers, use of various aids, assistance with activities, etc. The workplace is in her home and wherever she is located. Working hours are scheduled for both daytime and evening, mostly evenings, and every other weekend. We prefer that you can also work on short notice as needed, due to illness or similar.

Since you will be part of a team of personal assistants selected by and for your specific user, it is important to have good work ethic where everyone steps up for each other and can work on short notice as needed, due to illness or similar. We also see that you are available during the summer and holiday periods.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We prefer that you applying for the position have a flexible and independent work approach and can easily adapt to new situations. You must be able to take responsibility as you work based on the individual's needs. You should have good competence in documentation and have a professional approach. Other qualities in you that are good in the job are a good mood, calmness, patience, and that you are responsible. You should be able to speak fluent Swedish as this is a job where good communication is very important. It is a significant merit if you have experience working in personal assistance.
