Södra Lapplands Parish consists of five congregations where Lycksele Hospital is located in Lycksele and serves the entire southern Lapland as its catchment area.

Lycksele Hospital is an emergency hospital with an important geographical location centrally in Västerbotten County and has a catchment area of approximately 40,000 inhabitants. The hospital has nearly 600 employees and around 80 care beds. To be able to offer safe and secure care in an area with large geographical distances, the hospital has developed prehospital care with well-trained and experienced staff. The county's ambulance helicopter is stationed here and performs more than 500 missions per year.

The hospital church's work team consists of a hospital chaplain, hospital deacon, and hospital pastor. A cantor is also connected to the operations. The hospital chaplain is the work leader for the Church of Sweden's part in the operations and coordinator for the whole. The hospital church has good relationships with the hospital's staff and management.

We are looking for you, a priest in the Church of Sweden who has:

• documented further training in pastoral care
• is secure and integrated as a person
• has good collaboration skills and is flexible to meet the needs that arise
• has the ability to meet people in different life situations and crises
• has a listening approach and great interest in people
• has pedagogical ability/competence
• have you completed the hospital church's competence program in hospital pastoral care
• or other qualified further training in pastoral care and therapy is a merit.

Your tasks

• Pastoral care and crisis support, individually and in groups; patients, relatives, and staff
• Participation in training and supervision of healthcare staff
• Be part of the hospital's crisis management, PKL
• Be part of on-call duty and recruit and train colleagues for the on-call team
• Be responsible for song services and music arrangements
• Be available as a resource in the grief group work in the congregation
• Services and church ceremonies, to some extent.
• be a link to the parish's congregations and support and equip within
• the areas of pastoral care, spiritual care, and crisis support.

We want you to have a driver's license B.

The position is a permanent employment and probationary employment may be relevant.
