Summer substitutes sought for man living in Gothem

We are now looking for more summer substitutes for our client in Gothem. We are seeking someone who is engaged, responsible, and professional in their approach and wants to work with people in a respectful and long-term manner.

About the position

As a personal assistant, you provide individually tailored support to a person with a disability in their daily life. The work is performed in the client's home and in other environments where the client spends time. The tasks vary based on the client's needs and may include personal care, support in daily routines, mobility assistance, and accompanying the client during activities and errands.

About the client and the assignment

The assignment involves a man in his 60s living in Gothem (Slite). The man lives in a villa, and your task will be to support him in his daily life. The man has Parkinson's disease and communication difficulties. Therefore, it is important that you understand and can speak fluent Swedish.

The working hours are from 20:00 to 12:15, of which 8 hours consist of on-call duty. We prefer that you are available to work for most of the summer during June, July, and August.

It is important that both you and the client feel comfortable with each other in the work. Therefore, you always start with an introduction together with experienced staff so that you can then work independently.

There is also the possibility to work with multiple clients in different locations around Gotland.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Preferably has experience working as a personal assistant or other experience from care professions
• Is responsible, attentive, and has a professional approach
• Is proactive and decisive
• Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Has a driver's license and access to a personal car
• Has the ability to work flexible hours

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability and respect for the client's self-determination and personal integrity.

Employment conditions

• Employment conditions according to collective agreement with Kommunal
• Individual salary setting, hourly wage as agreed

• Extract from the Police criminal record (for older or adults with disabilities) must be presented before employment
