Do you want meaningful work where your presence and patience truly matter? We are now seeking an engaged assistant for a lively 22-year-old woman who loves music, swimming, and long walks.

About the Role

As a personal assistant, you are her security in everyday life. Since she lives with CCHS (Ondine's Curse), she breathes with the help of a ventilator when sleeping, and during the day, you assist her with the care of her tracheostomy. Through your attentiveness and calmness, you create a safe environment where she can thrive, despite challenges with communication.

As she is non-verbal and has autism, you need to be attentive to her way of expressing herself. Your most important task is to understand her needs and be there as support in all daily chores – both at home and during her daily activities.

Who are you?

• Patient & Attentive: You have the ability to remain calm even when communication is challenged.
• Respectful: You understand and respect the dynamics of working in a private family home.
• Reliable: You enjoy taking responsibility and are awake and alert, even during night shifts.

Requirements: Driver's license and access to a car, as well as an extract from the criminal records register.

Meritous: Experience with autism or working with non-verbal individuals.

We Offer

• Thorough Introduction: Are you new to the profession? No problem! We provide about 50 hours of training where you learn all about the ventilator, tracheostomy care, and how to best support our user.
• Flexibility: The position is at 85-95% with good opportunities for extra hours.
• Varied Shifts: Shifts vary between 7–13 hours (24-hour assistance, awake night).
